The Tarot Shop at Tedditory ("we," "us," the "app") offers tarot readings generated with the help of AI, across topics like love and relationships, career, finance, and personal growth. By using this app, you agree to the following.
This app is early-stage software, actively built and changed by a solo founder — not a finished, stable product. Concretely, that means: features may be added, changed, or removed without notice; things may break; you should not expect any uptime or availability guarantee; and we may suspend or discontinue the app entirely, at any time, for any reason. This isn't a "coming soon" hedge — it's the actual current state of the software, and you should use it (and store anything you care about elsewhere) with that in mind.
Readings are AI-generated tarot interpretations meant for self-reflection and pattern-noticing — a lens for thinking through what's on your mind, not fortune-telling in the sense of guaranteed, provable predictions about your future. Treat a reading as one perspective worth considering, not an instruction to follow.
This app is built for adults who want a candid reading, not a wellness product that softens everything into reassurance. A reading may include a genuine caution or a harder note when that's what the cards suggest, delivered as something worth watching for rather than dressed up as constant good news. That's a deliberate choice, not an oversight — see "Age requirement" below.
Nothing in this app is medical, legal, financial, or psychological advice, and it is not a substitute for a doctor, lawyer, financial advisor, or therapist. The app itself is built to steer away from these topics — questions that read as seeking medical, legal, financial, or precise-timing predictions get redirected toward a more reflective framing rather than answered directly. That safeguard doesn't make us a source of professional advice; it exists to keep the two clearly separate. If you're facing a decision with real medical, legal, or financial consequences, please talk to a qualified professional instead of relying on a reading.
We don't guarantee that a reading is accurate, complete, or right for your situation. Any decision you make based on a reading is yours alone, and you take full responsibility for it. Use your own judgment, especially for anything consequential.
You must be at least 18 years old to use this app. We draw the line at 18 rather than 13 for two reasons: readings can touch on relationships, money, and other adult-life topics, written in the candid register described above rather than softened for a general audience; and we don't run the parental-consent or age-verification systems that properly serving minors would require. If you're under 18, please don't use this app.
You can use the app anonymously — a browser-linked session, no account required — for a limited number of free readings, or sign in with Google or Apple to save your reading history and remove that limit. We may suspend or terminate any account, anonymous or signed-in, at our discretion, including for violating these terms, abusing the free reading limit, or misusing the app.
We collect: the questions you type or select, the AI-generated readings you receive, your answers to the short optional questions we ask to personalize future readings (things like relationship status or birth year), your Google or Apple account info if you choose to sign in, and product-usage analytics about how you use the app. We retain this data indefinitely and, to the maximum extent permitted by law, reserve all rights to use it — including to analyze it, build aggregated insights from it, improve and personalize the app with it, develop new features and products from it, and share it with the service providers (such as AI and analytics vendors) we use to run the app. This is a free product; collecting and using data to understand our users is part of how it operates, and by using the app you consent to that. There is no separate privacy policy — this section is the complete statement of how we handle data. If the law of your jurisdiction grants you specific rights over your data, contact us and we'll handle your request as that law requires.
The app itself — its design, branding, the "Tedditory" and "The Tarot Shop" names, and the underlying software — belongs to us. The specific questions you write remain yours, but by submitting them you grant us a perpetual, irrevocable, worldwide, royalty-free license to store, process, analyze, and use them for any purpose connected to operating, improving, or commercializing the app — including sending them to third-party AI providers to generate your reading.
Use the app the way it's meant to be used. Don't try to break, reverse-engineer, or abuse the app or its rate and reading limits; scrape or bulk-extract its content; impersonate someone else; or use it for anything illegal or harmful. We can suspend or terminate access for violating this.
The app is provided "as is" and "as available," without warranties of any kind, express or implied — including any implied warranty of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, or non-infringement. We don't warrant that the app will be uninterrupted, secure, or error-free, or that any defect will be corrected.
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Tedditory and its founder are not liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of the app, including from decisions you make based on a reading — even if we've been advised those damages were possible. Our total liability for any claim relating to the app is capped at the greater of $50 or the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the claim arose, which for a free product will usually be $0.
You agree to defend, indemnify, and hold us harmless from any claim, loss, or expense (including reasonable legal fees) arising from your use of the app, your violation of these terms, or your violation of someone else's rights.
These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Washington, without regard to conflict-of-law rules, and any dispute will be handled exclusively in the state or federal courts located in Washington. You waive any objection to venue or personal jurisdiction there.
We may modify, suspend, or discontinue any part of the app, and may update these terms, at any time. This notice is shown on an ongoing basis rather than as a one-time click-through wall, so continued use of the app after we update these terms means you accept the revised version — check back here occasionally if you want to stay current.
